The International Research Awards Scheme was instituted in the year 2015 by the Centre for Advanced Research and Design-CARD of Venus International Foundation. The objective of the scheme is to honour individuals for extraordinary achievements and contributions in the field of Agriculture, Engineering, Medical and Science. Any individual with significant contribution in these areas are eligible for the Award.
The Venus International Research Awards - VIRA ( is a part of the Annual Research Meet - ARM 2016 ) 'Celebrating the Creative Minds of World' by proudly recognizing 'Expertly Qualified - Highly Cited Research Professionals' in the age group of 27 - 62 years who are committed to finding solutions to the daunting challenges.
VIRA 2016 is convened by the Centre for Advanced Research and Design ( CARD ) of VIF & conducted in accordance with the VIF BOARD MEETING resolution vide F. No. VIF / MIN / BM - III / 2016 held on August 3, 2016 at VIF Head Quarters. The VIRA 2016 invites nominations vide F. No. VIF / CFN / RA / 2016 dt. This award is established in 2015 for the contribution to the Fundamental Discoveries, New Theories, or Insights have had an Impact on their own discipline and beyond.
- For each Specialization/Subdivision (Eg. Young Scientist-Engineering/Mechanical), the expert committee will select 2 Nominees. However the Apex Committee reserve the rights to honor less or more than 2 nominees in any category who meet standards set by the expert committee.
This award is established in 2015 for the contribution to the Fundamental Discoveries, New Theories, or Insights have had an Impact on their own discipline and beyond.
- For each Specialization/Subdivision (Eg. Outstanding Scientist-Engineering/Electronics), the expert committee will select 2 Nominees. However the Apex Committee reserve the rights to honor less or more than 2 nominees in any category who meet standards set by the expert committee.
